Public Relations and Press

With the advent of the new digital age, the list of commandments for PR professionals is getting longer. It is no longer enough to have good contacts in the media, but you also have to have ‘2.0 skills’.

In reality, the press releases remain the same, only the channels through which they are disseminated changed.

Public Relations (PR) is a set of strategic communication actions coordinated and sustained over time, whose main objective is to strengthen ties with different audiences, listening to them, informing them and persuading them to achieve consensus, loyalty and support in present and future social actions. It is estimated that currently 75% of the content in the media comes from the actions of a PR officer.
